mofo the movement

It will take more than podcasts, articles, social media, exposes, and even government regulations.
It will take all of us coming together—people of all economic backgrounds, politics, gender, race, and health status…

To acknowledge that access to affordable health care is a basic human right.

The uniform goal of the movement is to make health and wellness an affordable reality for all Americans rather than a corrupt system bankrolling a few to the detriment of the many.

It begins with unbiased truth, facts, and guidance to inform choice and empower individuals to make sense of it all and know how to navigate the system.

"Madeline has assembled agents of change from the healthcare/benefits world to deliver truth bombs you can’t unsee. They peel the layers of the nasty onion!! If you are a broker, employer, or even an employee this mofo book is a must read…you don’t know what you don’t know, until you know - then take action!"

Dr. Madeline Smith is the Founder and CEO of MADDRS, LLC
(pronounced “matters”). Madeline earned her Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Philosophy and holds an MBA and a Doctorate in
Business Administration, where her research examined the role of
corporate social responsibility in the health insurance industry. After
more than seven years of working in nonprofit administration and
strategic planning as VP of Development and Marketing, she felt the
desire to make an impact in the insurance, healthcare, and risk
management industry. Her work has been exclusively in the selffunded
arena, overseeing operations, underwriting, and marketing &
sales as the Chief Growth Officer of a domestic health captive and
brokerage agency. In 2019, Dr. Smith started an independent business coaching and operations consulting firm supporting service providers, consultants, captives, carriers, and networks. Madeline works to stand out in the industry, being able to bring together like-minded entities around phenomenally different solutions with an ability to see the big picture. She makes it her business to effectively manage the minutia and keep focused on the people and families at the center of it all. She aims to be known by her colleagues and clients as a truth-teller who has a reputation for making a difference and promoting programs she stands 100 percent behind. When she’s not working or studying, she
spends time with her husband and three sons, writing something, or
on an outdoor run planning her next project.
